'Braga Culinary Night' (BCN) has become a main tourist attraction in
Bandung, Indonesia, which will promote visits to the city more, said
Mayor of Bandung H. Ridwan Kamil.
"Braga Culinary Night, located in Braga Street, gives a new kind of
vibe every Saturday night and has become the new tourist attraction in
Bandung," he said.
The first BCN was a success with more than 10,000 people filling up
the streets of Braga. The place was packed with various culinary
delights made in Bandung.
Braga Street, which is covered in granite, was filled with food
vendors providing foods from light to heavy meals. Colorful tents also
decorate Bandung's legendary street.
BCN is more successful than any other events held in the city. Not
only had the people of Bandung, but foreign tourists also visited the
event held every Saturday night.
"The concept of Braga Culinary Night is to put together the various
kinds of Bandung delicacy in one place so everyone can come here and
enjoy themselves, including foreign tourists on vacation," he said.
The foods sold here are of normal price making it more "wallet friendly".
