Lamudi, New Online Store For Real Estate Property

A global scale Internet incubator, Rocket Internet has introduced a new web store for properties in Indonesia, called the Lamudi. Based on Lamudi research, Indonesian people are still doing property purchasing in an old way. 

"This is surprising because online transactions are more practical," said managing director of Lamudi Indonesia, Lorenzo Peracchione, Thursday.

According to Lorenzo, Lamudi Indonesia will not set any minimum or maximum limit for the property prices. To extend their arms, Lamudi will be opening a branch office in Surabaya soon.

The Co-Founder of Lamudi, Karan Khetan, said the website has been accommodating 24,000 listings since its first operation two months ago. The listing comes from 30 cities and involves 856 property agents.

"We are targeting 200,000 listings within the next six months," Karan said.
