Banten to Held Debus Festival

Department of Culture and Tourism, Banten Regional Police and Banten Regional Tourism Promotion Agency will hold a Debus Festival on July 2014.
 
Head Committee of the Banten Debus Festival Rosmita Rustam, said that the Debus Festival Banten 2014 series will begin on the first week of July, while the highlight of the event is scheduled to take place on June 21 in Anyer Beach.

During the launching of the festival in Banten Police Headquarter on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, Rosmita said that the event will include a record breaking attempt, a rampak bedug show, seminar and tour.

"The concept that we offer in this event is relax, fun and attractive to domestic and foreign tourists," said Ahmad Sari Alam, Head of BPBD Banten and Director of the Banten Debus Festival 2014.

The festival, which will be included in the province's annual agenda, is held to encourage the development of Banten tourism industry.
