The Chinese electronic manufacturer greets Indonesian market with its
third generation of ThinkPad series, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
The
ultrabook that is still aimed to corporation users is equipped with new
designs and features when compared to its predecessor.
"Lenovo keeps on pushing off the limits on designs and technology
when we want to create the best product on the market. This device is
designed to improve the users' interaction whether they are at home or
in the office," said Sandy Lumy, the Chief Operating Officer of Lenovo
Indonesia during the launching in Jakarta last Thursday.
Priced at Rp20 million per unit, the new ThinkPad's appearance looks
as luxurious as its previous series but lighter by 100 grams as the body
is made of carbon fiber. With the weight of 1.28 kilograms, Lenovo
claims the new ultrabook as the lightest 14-inch ultrabook in the world.
The adaptive keyboard and voice-and-hand motion integrated control
are also featured along with Intel's latest Core Hawell i7. The Core
Haswell 17 processor is claimed to be able to make the battery last
longer. Lenovo also increased the resolution up to 2,560x1,440 pixels on
its in-panel switching touch screen.
