Jakarta Plant Trees, Bogor Demolish Villas

Jakarta City Administration has managed to plant trees along the Ciliwung River in an attempt to prevent flood. Meanwhile, Bogor Mayor Rachmat Yasin responded, saying that unlicensed villa must also be taken down in order to optimalize water catchment area. 

Rachmat mentioned that Bogor City Administration must remain consistent on eradicating those villas. The mayor added that he plans to take down 600 villas per year. 

This February, he mentioned that Bogor is set to take down 93 villas owned by 31 individuals.

Meanwhile, Jokowi said that "the area [Bogor] hosts absorbance ground and the villas are disrupting its function. Therefore the villas must be brought to order." This year, Jakarta City Administration donated Rp 5 billion to eradicate illegal villas.
