Bank Indonesia stronger growth predicted in Q1, 2014

Bank Indonesia predicted a healthier growth for the countrys economy in the first quarter of 2014 after slowdown in the last quarter of 2013.

The slowdown in the last quarter of 2013 was indicated by the decline in capacity utilization.

Based on a business survey, utilized production capacity fell from 73.18 percent in the third quarter of 2013 to 73.1 percent in the last quarter of that year.

In the first quarter of 2014, the trend is expected to improve, data at the central bank showed.
