AVG Malware detection in New Windows

A report from Slashdot.org, mentioned that a virus definition update from the AVG antivirus software, iTunes has detected as malware. Moreover, users also complain that put Apple in the Forums. However, there are malware iTunes does not apply to the user platform Mac OS X.

A discussion in the Apple Forums that bring AVG antivirus program virus definitions that detect iTunes.dll and iTunesRegistry.dll as malware "Trojan horse Small.BOG". For detail of malware "Trojan horse Small.BOG" was not in the list of viruses in the AVG website. However, users who try to install again iTunes will get the same problem.

For now, until the patch or repair to AVG users, iTunes users have only 3 options. First, the user can stop using AVG if they will continue to use the AVG. Second, 9to5Mac suggest, to add "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ ipod" in the AVG Resident Shield> Manage Exceptions> Add Path.

Problems terdeteksinya iTunes as malware berimbas only to the Windows system. In addition, the Windows system users are advised to keep AVG to update virus definitions regularly. (H_n)
