AMD & ATI will ignites In Merging Technology

Three years after the merger between AMD / ATI that steal the attention in the computer industry worldwide, the company is now home Sunnyvale, California announced that the two companies finally really ignites.

AMD has revealed their plans to streamline how the two companies in making the chip architecture and also more focus on the advantages of the company. Although they still plan to bring the CPU and GPU chips, but now they will "attack the market as an AMD."



"Innovation generation that will come in the computer industry will be based on technology combining mikroprosesor and graphics," said Dirk Meyer, AMD Chief Executive Officer in a statement authorized. "With this change, we put our units in the right place to help bring the future of computing," he said.

As part of the reorganization, AMD will divide the operations into four units namely unified products, advanced technology, marketing, and customer group. Unified produts group is a new unit and the unit may be the most important because its function is a focus on the CPU and GPU fusion.

The impact of the reorganization, Randy Allen, previously responsible for the peak position in the business of making chips for servers and workstations and the PC is a company employee since 2001, which is always present at the press meet each AMD is forced to leave the company.
