Rating system is to separate each processor based on the capacity offered. The more stars the better of course, similar rate as used in luxury hotels.
Intel processors are marked with a star between 1 to 5. The stars include a combination of features, including core, speed (GHz), cache, and some other technologies.
Following example the classification based on Intel processors stars:
