President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono reminded that presidential election
process had not completed.
Although it has been announced by General
Election Commission (KPU), but Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa filed a
lawsuit.
Yudhoyono also felt that he still had an obligation to ensure the election run until the end.
"I
have a duty to ensure that this election can be completed, so that the
presidential succession can be conducted on October 20," he said at
Cikeas Palace, Bogor recently.
President requested that Prabowo's
lawsuit would be held next week, precisely on August 6. Chairman of
Constitutional Court, Hamdan Zoelva said in the first trial that he
would not be so much discussing the substantive matters, but rather on
the administration that should be completed.
He also said that Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and Jusuf Kalla would be summoned as witnesses. Esthi Maharani/Mutia Ramadhani
