Facebook Users Reach 1.3 Billion

Facebook confirmed its position as the largest Internet social network in the world, with the number of users reached 1.32 billion per month in the second quarter of 2014. 

achievement of this well also followed by a growing number of Facebook users who access the device mobile, particularly mobile phones. From 1.32 billion users, about 399 million, or using up only a third of their phones.  

It shows how Facebook successfully make the transition into the service of mobile. Aside from the user side, is also a successful Facebook advertising to increase profits in the mobile which makes the company's revenues grew rapidly.  

In the second quarter of 2014, Facebook recorded revenue of 2.9 billion dollars, growing 61 percent of the 1.8 billion dollars in the same quarter last year. Advertisement is a major source of revenue for Facebook, which accounted for 2.7 billion dollars this quarter.
