SHANGHAI - Software Company United States (USA), Microsoft became the latest foreign company under the strict supervision of the Chinese authority since the Beijing government banned the marketing of Windows 8 in the country.
Microsoft confirmed that on Monday (28/7) evening local time, but without explaining further details.
"We aim to develop products and provide the latest features, security, and reliability customers as expected. We will answer all the concerns of government (China)," a Microsoft representative said, quoted by the Guardian, Wednesday (30/7).
It comes after China last May banned the use of Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system on all computers new government. In the same month, the United States charged five members of the Chinese military on suspicion of being a hacker in American companies and the state to divulge trade secrets.
Officials Administration for Industry and Commerce of China (Saic) have visited the Microsoft office in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. Microsoft operating system software has achieved 95 percent market share in the Chinese market and is thought to form a de facto monopoly.
