Rendang Introduced in China

Rendang, crowned by CNN as the most delicious food in the world, has been introduced to the people of China in Beijing since the beginning of last week. 

Along with 29 other food, Rendang is presented in the Indonesian Food Festival.
 
The event, in cooperation with Garuda Indonesia Airlines, has been held in a hotel in Beijing since Monday, June 23. 

"For a week, a variety of Indonesian food will be presented in a buffet along with other food served by the hotel," Garuda Indonesia General Manager in Beijing, Asa Perkasa, told Antara, Tuesday.

Everyday, the hotel will serve five different menu combinations. The typical Indonesian food served during the festival is a part of the 30 culinary archipelago icons established by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, including rendang and soto.

Indonesian chefs were directly brought from Indonesia to present the food. By the end of the festival, not only will the organizers introduce the archipelago food, they will also be opening a cooking class for guests and business associates.
