Apple is reportedly launching headphones equipped with sensors to measure heart rate and blood pressure, soon.
The Guardian reported a posting in the app Secret, written by an anonymous claiming to have been let go from the company, along with others, last week.
According to the posting, the headphone will use Apple's iBeacon technology to help locate the device if they are lost. The writer also suggested that Apple
is also working on an "iWatch" wearable of which the name has yet to be
set.
The suggestion would also fit well with leaked suggestions that
iOS 8, Apple's next version of iPhone and iPad software, will incorporate a "Healthbook" app.
Audio accessories provided with advanced technology have recently
been the latest device thrown at the market by global electronic
manufacturers. Apple's contender, Samsung, has
previously introduced their Samsung Level series which consists of
Samsung Level Over and Level On (headphones), Level in (earphone) and
Level Box (mini speaker). The devices feature Bluetooth and near field
communication (NFC), among other features.
