Windows Phone users have to wait longer to enjoy BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) on their phone.
Digital Spy wrote that BlackBerry has no immediate plan to launch BBM on Windows Phone.
"[The lack of a BBM Windows Phone app] is entirely market-driven,"
BlackBerry's senior director of BBM business development David Proulx
told TrustedReviews as reported by Digital Spy. "Our initial launch on iOS and Android was a function of the prevalence of those platforms."
Although there is no indication of immediate plan to launch BBM on
Windows Phone, Poulx did not close possibilities that may rise on the
future as he added: "As other platforms emerge, whichever they may be,
we will execute on those platforms as well."
