Micro Star International (MSI) has announced a new addition to its lineup—the MSI Wind U160. The 10-inch netbook weighs less than 1kg including the battery, has won the Innovation Foundation (iF) Design Award in Germany on its recent global launch.
Based on Intel’s Pine Trail platform with integrated N450 Atom processor, the new netbook provides a battery run-time of up to 15 hours. It comes with DDR2, supports up to 2GB (1 DIMM slot) memory, and includes 320GB 2.5-inch SATA HDD.
It includes 1.3-megapixel Webcam and its energy-saving LED display boasts a reaction time of just 8ms.
The Wind U160 also offers comprehensive wireless networking functionality as it has built-in 802.11 b/g/n capability, Bluetooth V2.0 EDR, and supports 3.5G mobile communications.
