A few weeks ago, Yahoo had released a competing product Microblogging site Twitter, called Yahoo Meme in Spanish and Portuguese. Yahoo seems ambitious to make Yahoo Meme like Twitter and Tumblr. Yahoo is now making the site in English version.
A few weeks ago, Yahoo had released a competing product Microblogging site Twitter, called Yahoo Meme in Spanish and Portuguese. Yahoo seems ambitious to make Yahoo Meme like Twitter and Tumblr. Yahoo is now making the site in English version.
Here's how Yahoo Meme:
Users create an account and start with an empty blog so that users can begin entering text, image, video, music, or a mixture of them. All can be added to the blog, the content title, the description in the form of 100 characters and an avatar. Users also can make comments and thread under the post content, which is not there in previous versions of Yahoo Meme.
Like Twitter and Tumblr, users can search the public accounts of others and follow them, with updates from the other person will be displayed in the user account. Users also can perform "repost" the feedback everyone, just like the feature "Reblog" in Tumblr Microblogging sites. However, Yahoo Meme unfortunately this is still less features and perhaps less than its competitors. (H_n)
