Bhuvan, India Site competitor Google Earth

NEW DELHI - Google Earth, a site popular with the search image satellite service, now have a new competition coming from India.
Though Bhuvan name still sounded strange in the ears internet users, but the designer is completely prepare the site to compete with Google Earth. Bhuvan, which means in the language Sansakerta Earth, developed by space research organization India or Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
Times Online, Friday (14/8/2009) spread, Bhuvan India using satellite network to create high-resolution results pencitraan, and natural scenery that India can be accessed online. This site will attempt to compete with Google Earth which has had prior service.
Bhuvan service with a http://bhuvan.nrsc.gov.in/ has been specifically designed to be operated even though the Internet connection with low bandwidth. This design appears to be deliberately adjusted to the average of the internet connection used by Indian people.
However, at the time of launch, the site was difficult to access. It could be so many who want to access it's causing the traffic this site is solid.
"This is not just a browser, but a mechanism to provide satellite imagery and thematic maps for the development of a plan," said Director of ISRO, G Madhavan Nair.
Data collected piecemeal projects supported by the government this will be available for the civil service general masayarakat India. So that can be used to help the urban plan, manage and monitor the traffic situation and the water plant in India. (srn)
