A new malware that attack Mac OS X system has been found. Known malware attacks are called "Puper," Trojan that hides himself and masquerade as a video program for the OS X system with the name "MacCinema." According to observations by McAfee Avert Labs,
the attack Puper appear as a disk image and then me-launching the application installer software MacCinema called fiction. Once the installer is run and complete its tasks, the user will be infected with the script file "Adobe Flash".
Script 'evil' is then run akan itself every 5 minutes, and then encourage users to download and run other malware on the infected system. Puper this latest attack is almost the same as that ever happened in the system Mac OS X several months ago. The attack also encourage users to download and install the malware which masquerade as video or post plugin 'codec' that will be used to play a movie file.
Other attacks also have the Bundle with the installer that contains the trojan, which is in pirated software, one of which is used for the construction of all botnet Mac. According to the McAfee Avert Labs, level malware for the Mac is less than in the Windows system, but the user can still maintain the security system to update and not download suspicious files from sources that can not be trusted.
